HEYA! greetings from thailand everyone. a fruitful time in cambodia we did spend and now we're here in Bangkok to enjoy its sunny beaches and fantastic shopping.
Contary to the site that was sent by a friend, the happy herb pizza joint is VERY much in business :)
Phnom Penh was ok. overrated though the waterfront was very nice. The last day at Siam Reap was a day of revelations! i've found out and meet a friend's gf, our guide has a crush of sorts on one of the girls (his sms msg: i dreamt of you last night. it was a good dream. take care) HURHUR and after over 12 hours via bus, we've finally reached bangkok! and i kinda regretted not spending more in siem reap, buying all those stone carvings, etc. i love siem reap so much! first night i got there all i could think of what wtf man, look at this SQUALOR and there's NOTHING to do after 8pm cos they don't have many bars, etc, that aren't seedy and cater to old chee ko peks with their beer girls. But it really does grow on you, looking forward to a trip back soon :D
and the last week with these two girs have revealed many *ahem* incriminating traits. YH for one, seems terminally infatuated with Khymer monks and children, hurhur. and i've found out that the RJ/RI/RGS circle is incredibly small - almost akin to our Convent/CJ/Catholic circle. oh wells, that's SG for you i guess. speaking of which, on our trip to Bangkok, an ah-pek from singapore with a garment factory in Phnom Penh sort of hung out with us on our first night here. hurhur. we even booked into the same hotel. turns out after some conversation that his wife is a chinese teacher at CJ. this singapore world is just too damn small.
the Internet here is awful. or rather, this cafe i guess. i can't seem to log onto MSN or ICQ or anything. so oh wells.
so it's chatuchak market for us tomorrow! and the luckiest charm in the world i can find for my monyet in the amulet market.
see u guys in Singapore soon!
