a quick update:

so what HAS joanna been doing since she finished her thesis?

well, has she done any studying for exams?

NO!

does she care about exams?

NO!!

a week has passed, what did she do?

she went on a gilmore girls binge! yes she did! and now she's done with season 1 to 4! yes! rory went to yale! yes! she cut her hair! yes! dean still lurves her even tho' he's married! ooOooOoh.

and she has taken to talking in 3rd person. much like a certain samwise.

oh yes! she's twiddling her thumbs and trying to look productive, but really, she's doing some gilmore girls therapy. it's cheaper than shrinks and it makes her ever SO happy. :D

she's also bought

1) one bottle of bodyshop bergamot salt scrub (oh yummy)

2) eye gel for her eye circles

3) eye gel for her sister's puffy eyes

so much for resolutions to save money.

she's also been busy dreaming about her up and coming trip to cambodia and thailand! yessiree, one month of bliss. with very very little money.

she's thinking about the party and erm well, happy, hopefully pyschedelic things and times at kho pha ngan, the shopping and the food at bangkok, the temple trials at angkor, the happy herb pizza (i refuse to believe u shuyin!) at cambodia and many more happy moments to come in the next month.

she's thinking about signing her letter of appointment for a certain covert gahmen ministry this Tuesday and wondering whether she will be happy to sell her soul to the gahmen instead.

she's thinking about the WONDERFUL dinner she had. it was a bbq with loads of steak, lamb chops, nice, thick, fat dripping sausages, crayfish, prawns and a wide assortment of seafood, home-made cheesecake, a pretty good salad, really nice mustard with a touch of rosemary, very fragrant, nicely brewed green tea from japan served in delicate china.

she's thinking quite fondly of afternoon tea tomorrow. and of her pgp room. oh, how she's going to miss it. and all the happy and special times she's had in it. and how she's loathing the inevitable move back home.

and she's glad she finally got out of that rutty, bad, baaaad week of non-stop quarrelling and the like.
