A DAY OF ADVENTURE

----------------------------------------

oh man. i scaled the gate behind PGP (the rickety, green wrie one that seperates PGP from the science park) with the help of two tall german guys. the stupid security guard locked the gate early. you should have seen the way these tall guys casually swung their legs over the top of the fence and step down. short little me had to cling on for dear life in my sandals before i could perch precariously on the top of that damn fence, before leaning down on tall guy one, and then attempting to vault down. the only thing those two could say were, "imagine if you were wearing a short skirt", which i wasn't - thank god.

anyways, besides all that, i went to watch good-bye lenin! at cineleisure today. everyone who's been to watch it said it was a comedy. argh, u lie! *points an accusatory finger* granted, it was funny, but i thought it was more sad than funny, heart wrenchingly achey at some points.

and i saw teh today! oh my god, he was wearing a SHIRT, PLEATED pants, a black leather belt with a shiny buckle and COVERED SHOES (black oxfords no less). apparently mr MFA just came back from a trip to jakarta. my oh my, what civil service can do to a person. i have NEVER EVER seen him, in all 3 years, in SHOES - always a pair of slippers, or sandals. and PLEATED pants! so ah pek! this coming from the guy who used to sprout an orange mohawk in school and smoke in the dingy corners of school with me.
