argh! the heavens mock me! i have discovered by sheer luck on friendster that i am seperated by ONE degree, NINETEEN times from the one and only alfian sa'at. ok ok i admit i have some sort of a weird infatuation for him but how can u not after reading what he writes and the things he says?! the man is bloody brilliant and he has such a way with words *sigh*

anyways, i figure a quick update's in order since my long hiatus.

haven't been able to update or even log on cos i'm stuck at home with an ancient PC which doesn't recognise java/flash, effectively eliminating half the online content. plus there's something wrong with my modem on my good ole lappie, so oh wells.

just had my sid interview which went alright. except that i was so cold that i kept chattering and it was so frickin' early in the morning that i couldn't think either. like, 8.30?! that's insane.

going onto genting highlands come this monday for silly ole competition. hope everything turns out well and we don't end up embarressing ourselves.

thesis is very much being ignored despite my valiant efforts ( i borowed ten pretty books! wee!) am trying to read through interviews with baudrillard and virillio but *sigh* oh wells. it still continually amazes me that although these interviews took place in the early 90s, the issues they discussed then are very much current issues in this day and age. what foresight, tsk tsk.

and erm guess that's about it. am taking a vacation away fromk blogging and will be back post christmas? or new year, depending on my internet access.
